What are the dental and medical facilities like?

There are a number of Western hospitals as well as Chinese hospitals with Western Floors in Shanghai that provide medicine to Western standard. 

Parkway Health Clinic in the Shanghai Centre is a Western Clinic with western trained doctors. The Huang Dong Hospital has excellent medical care - the facility is old but it is the hospital that Chinese leaders are taken to when ill. 

Huashan Hospital affiliated with Shanghai’s top university provides  avery modern and Western type of hospital care.

Teachers in the British Columbia Program of the school have an international health plan. Although dental coverage is not covered under our health plan there are a number of very good dentists in Shanghai who provide excellent service in modern facilities at a fraction of the cost of what it is in Canada.  Our Health care broker One World Cover or our administrative team will be happy to help you choose the right medical care
